Cookie Policy

Stonamart keeps cookie use to the minimum needed to run the site. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no cross-site trackers. Nothing described below is shared with anyone else, and none of it is used to build a profile of you.

These make signing in work. The site cannot keep you logged in without them.

• Session cookie (better-auth.session_token) — keeps you signed in after you log in. The site can’t recognize your account without it. Lasts up to 7 days, or until you sign out.
• Session cache cookie (better-auth.session_data) — a short-lived (5 minute) cookie that lets the site check whether you’re logged in without a database round-trip on every page load.
• Sign-in preference (better-auth.dont_remember) — set when you sign in without ticking “Remember me”, so your session ends when you close the browser instead of persisting.
• Signed-in hint (sm_auth) — records only that this browser has a session, so the header can show your account immediately instead of showing a “Sign In” button for a second while it checks. It holds no name, email or token — just a flag. Cleared when you sign out. Lasts 7 days.

These remember a choice you made so you don’t have to make it again. They are not required to browse or to sign in, and clearing them only resets the filter.

• City filter (selectedCity, selectedCities) — remembers which city or cities you chose to filter stone by, so the catalogue opens where you left it. Stored in your browser for up to a year.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser’s settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and prevent you from accessing account, partner, or admin areas — login cannot work without them. Blocking the preference cookies is harmless: the city filter simply resets each visit.
